Aj’s was rushed to hospital to get treated as she came up with an Allergic Reaction. But Aj is safe and resting now! Below you can see some of Aly’s Tweets:

Oh no!!! Up at 2am in the morning on our way to get medicine for lil AJ. She’s got an allergic reaction. Send a prayer

Going to the hospital now. Thanks for your prayers

AJ is find and resting. The doctor gave her an iv and a shot to feel better:) thanks for all your love xo

Prospect Park, Violet House land feature rights to dystopian tale

Lauren DeStefano’s dystopian sci-fi fantasy “Wither” is headed for the bigscreen, as Prospect Park and Violet House Prods. have acquired feature rights to the first book in a planned trilogy.

Producers are Jeff Kwatinetz and Rob Carliner through their Prospect Park banner and Aly and AJ Michalka via their Violet House shingle.

“Wither,” the first of three novels in first-time writer DeStefano’s “The Chemical Garden” trilogy, was released in March by Simon & Shuster and topped the Barnes & Noble and Publishers Weekly’s young adult bestseller lists.

Story is set in a future where the world’s in a state of panic due to a failed effort to create a perfect race that’s left women with a lifespan of 20 years while men die at 25.

The book series follows a kidnapped girl and her attempt to escape from a forced polygamous marriage designed to keep the population from dying out. The second book, “Fever,” is due out next year.

Prospect Park was a producer with Scott Free on “Unstoppable.”

DeStefano is repped by APA and the Irene Goodman Literary Agency.

Welcome to Violetbuds Forum and what we hope turns out to be the biggest online community for Violetbuds online!

I’ve been thinking about creating a forum for a while as in my opinion there isn’t really a place for Violetbuds to come online and socialise other than the official forum. Having Twitter myself (@AjMichalkaNet) I know that the majority of us Violetbuds spend most of our time on there chatting and discussing the latest news on 78Violet/Aly & Aj, so i’ve always wanted to create somewhere we can all chat and hang out!

So all the hard work behind the scenes is done now and today sees the launch of the forum! We hope that you guys enjoy the forum and I can’t wait to see our vision come to life and hopefully a few months down the line this place is buzzing with Violetbuds!
